Fair Trade Cat Burner

This fair trade burner has been hand made in Indonesia. The stone clay has been moulded into a cat shape then dried and fired in a kiln. There is glazed detailing around the eyes and mouth with a couple of little cut out patterns on its body.

Place your oil in the glazed area on the cats back and your tealight inside the cat and sit back and enjoy. This cute ceramic burner measures 14cm long by 8cm high.

The importer of this product has a direct trading policy. They visit the poorer regions of the world, such as Indonesia, Nepal, Peru and the Amazon in search of quality crafts. Once found they pay a fair price, often making advanced payments to enable the craftsman or artist to purchase raw materials. This direct trading policy currently provides well paid regular employment for about 200 families.
